New Features

1. Timers Screen for Smarter Time Tracking

  • Start, Pause & Resume Timers
Users can now manage their time in real-time, start a timer when work begins, pause it during breaks, and resume later.

  • Convert Timers to Worklogs
At the end of the day or the week, users can:

    • Split timer results into multiple worklogs, or

    • Combine all timer segments into a single worklog entry.
This gives full control over how tracked time is recorded in Jira.

  • Automatic Computation with Schedules & Holidays
Timers now take into account your working schedules and configured holidays, ensuring that total logged time reflects only valid working hours.

You can find more details here

2. Automatic Timers

  • Automatic Timer Activation
Timers can now start automatically on specific issues and projects, based on their status transitions.
For example, a timer can start when an issue moves to In Progress and stop and convert to a worklog when it moves to Done.

  • Automatic Conversion to Worklogs
When the issue reaches a predefined status, the timer is automatically converted into a worklog, ensuring that time is always captured accurately, even if users forget to log it manually.

  • Fully Customizable Rules
    You decide:

    • Which projects and issues (types , priorities or for specifics users..) the rule applies to

    • Which statuses start and stop the timer and then convert to a worklog

    • How and when the timer should be converted into a worklog
