The Timeline Module in the Timesheet Tracking for Jira provides a comprehensive overview of time logged across multiple projects. It offers an intuitive, calendar-like view that allows users to track, analyze, and report time spent on various tasks efficiently.

  1. Calendar View of Logged Hours

    • Displays time entries on a day-to-day basis for each project.

    • Offers a clear overview of daily time allocation.

  2. Filtering Options

    • Search Filters: Apply specific Jira filters to refine the view based on keywords or criteria

    • Project Filter: Choose one or more projects to focus on particular timelines.

  3. Date Navigation

    • Navigate seamlessly between months using the left and right arrows next to the month and year display.

    • This feature supports long-term tracking and historical data analysis.

  4. Export Functionality

    • Export time logs for further analysis or reporting using the Export button.

    • Supports multiple formats for flexibility in data sharing and reporting : Excel & CSV

  5. Column Customization

    • Access the Columns dropdown to select or deselect data fields.

    • Customize the timeline view to display only the most relevant information.

  6. Time Range Selection

    • This feature allows users to adjust the timeline's granularity.

    • Modes Available:

      • Days: For daily work log tracking.
